Support my team and the Kids at the Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies
I have always been passionate about supporting the children and families that are challenged by special needs. That is why I am walking in the Annual Kids Center Walk and Roll on June 11th. And I am asking for your support.
The Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies has been serving the special needs population for over 50 years and is a vital part of our community.
Our MISSION to to provide the best and most innovative therapies which help our clients reach their fullest potential.
Our VISION is that no child is denied these therapies if the parents are unable to pay or if their insurance doesn't support the therapy they require.
We are a non profit organization that depends on your donations to maintain this vision and to subsidize the therapies for our children. We provide services in physical, occupational and speech for children from birth to 21 years of age. We estimate that $1000 will subsidize one child for one year.
In addition to direct therapies, we offer the special needs community the opportunity to have children evaluated in the Orthopediac, Spasticity and Feeding clinics. Supported by the specialists from the Norton Neuroscience Institute, the Norton's Pediatric Orthopedists and the Uof L ENT and Gastroenterology departments, children are evaluated by our comprehensive team of therapists and physicians at one time and in one place.
With the recent acquisition of the Cardinal Hill facilities on the Bluegrass Parkway we now have more therapists and 2 campuses to serve our community better. However we cannot do it without your support. Any contribution you make will benefit the KIDS who need help to meet the challenges of cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, neuromuscular diseases, autism and spina bifida.
So before you make bets on your favorite Derby horse this month consider putting down a winning bet on our KIDS. Your money will have a more lasting effect and make a difference in the life of a child . See the ABILITY in disability and support the KIDS CENTER Walk and Roll.
